THE MAKING OF THE BEST OF THE DTO VOLUME 4 |
| |
|
 |
Dick Tady on button box
recording the brand new song he wrote, La Bella
Luna Waltz (Margie's Song). |
| |
|
 |
Famed DTO Drummer, Joe Gill in
the drum booth at Peppermint Recording Studio.
Hey Joe, those are electronic drums, so why are
you in the soundproof drum booth? |
| |
|
 |
Bob McBride lays down some great
sounding guitar tracks on Dick's new tune! |
| |
|
 |
Tony Grandovic recording
keyboard tracks on La Bella Luna Waltz. He
looks like he's really concentrating very
hard!!! |
| |
|
 |
Ed Gould doing his thing on the
bass. Maybe next week they'll let him
actually put strings on it!!! |
| |
|
 |
Gary Rhamy, Peppermint
Productions Master Engineer at the Button Box
Magic session, not only working up a good sound,
but working up a lot of laughs! |
| |
|
 |
Here's a 'Pair' that beats a
'Full House' any day of the week!
Dick Tady and Gary Rhamy...I'm sure they were up
to something here! |
| |
|
 |
Gary Rhamy comes into the studio
to tell Ed, "Hey fat ass, we have a record to
make...go pick up the instrument you know how to
play and leave the piano alone!" |
| |
|
 |
We don't know why Tony kept
disappearing during the recording session. We
did, however, manage to follow him and find out
where he was and what he was up to! |
| |
|
 |
Now, this would make a great
album cover...all except that stupid sunflower
plant in the middle of the piano. Sure
wish we would have thought to put a button box
there instead! |
